Chicken Week is spreading it’s wings !

Don’t miss the week long celebration and fundraising events for Wasatch Community Gardens, June 17th through the 22nd.

We are sponsoring a variety of events focused on urban homesteading, food growing, small-scale farming, livestock raising, bee keeping, water catching, chicken keeping and sustainable living in local backyards. It all started when we decided to get chickens of our own in 2008. We built the coop and added a beautiful 400 square foot run for luxurious chicken living. We are delighted to have met many interesting and like minded friends since we started sponsoring Chicken Week. Learn what is happening in Salt Lake City and our local food movement, and how you can become a part of it!
